The uninterrupted communication is one of the important elements of the Union programs including the stable operation of air, rail and road transport depends on the timely delivery of passengers and cargo. Contacts on these issues are under control, said the Belarusian prime minister. Now the railroads of both countries are gradually resuming their routes and the cargo traffic is growing as well.
Since the beginning of the year, 27 million tons of cargo has been transported via Belarus-Russia railroads. This is plus 4 % to the same period of the last year. The positive dynamics is part of the agreement on transshipment of Belarusian oil products through the ports of the Leningrad Region.
