Prodexpo brings together several hundred participants from Belarus, CIS and European Union

Minsk hosts a Prodexpo exhibition. This year, the largest platform for establishing business ties in the food industry gathered several hundred participants from Belarus, the CIS and the European Union. The main goal is to unite the best practices of manufacturers and develop a strategy for further development of the industry. 

Seminars and forums are held within the framework of the exhibition, blitz negotiations of buyers with food manufacturers and suppliers were held for the first time this year. The main topic of discussion is the expansion of exports and increasing the competitiveness of Belarusian products.

One of the export growth points is organic production. Today this issue was discussed within the framework of the business program of the forum. Next week the Law on production and circulation of organic products will come into force. Uniform approaches to legal regulation in this area in the EEU space are being developed.

Several hundred manufacturers and trade representatives of Belarus, the CIS and the European Union took part in the forum. 

The turnover of agricultural products and foodstuff between the countries for the first 9 months of the year amounted to almost 26 million dollars. 

The forum focuses on the application of modern technologies in production, creation of innovative products, introduction of global trends in ecological production - everything that will help Belarusian producers feel confident today and tomorrow. Our products are already known in almost a hundred countries around the world. The Asian market is being actively developed and supplies to the EU are increasing.

The most spectacular event of the forum is the international culinary cup. It includes competitions of professional cooks, confectioners and national teams from near and far abroad. The Prodexpo exhibition will last until the end of the week.
