All residents can join “Clean Reservoir” campaign

Eco-activists will clean up rivers and lakes this week. “Clean Reservoir” campaign continues in Minsk Region. It brings together more than 5,000 people in different parts of the country to preserve the natural sites.

Alexandra Cavelich also supported the eco-initiative. Eco-activists went to Smalevichi District near Petrovichi Reservoir.  

Large rubbish packages are almost half full in 10 minutes. 

Information signs are set nearby to support the action.  Representatives of the environmental organizations, together with volunteers, clean about a thousand kilometers of the shoreline every year. 

Residents of different regions are invited to join the initiative.  The necessary cleaning equipment can be obtained at the offices of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishers.
