The state is not just a form of organisation of society. It is also the voice of society. Regardless of their status and views, the interests of people must be a priority.

And the authorities intend to support employees in various fields. An important topic was raised today at the Independence Palace. Alexander Lukashenko and the head of the Trade Unions Federation, Mikhail Orda, discussed the whole range of issues and events, and the important role of the Federation in the life of the country and society.

Prices and housing and communal services are the main aspects of  the Federation work

The President gave a high priority to price monitoring, especially on socially important goods such as bread or milk. There is a similar policy in the housing and utilities sector. Collective agreements are another important topic.

This year's economy, social life and geopolitics are viewed through the lens of the coronavirus. The President's positions on health care and the international agenda are the same: we will not back down, we can manage on our own, but we will not pry into other people's affairs, unlike our neighbours.
