Minsk-Mir complex, a new multifunctional clinical hospital and additional areas for the historical museum - these urban planning projects were discussed by the President at a meeting with the Mayor of Minsk Anatoly Sivak.
Minsk-Mir is a unique area, which is designed on the principle of "a city in the city". This means that it will have a walkable environment infrastructure with outpatient polyclinics, medical centers, and a school or kindergarten in every neighborhood.
At the same time, an international financial center is under construction on the site. In the future, it will attract big investors and create thousands of new jobs.
Meanwhile, there is an election campaign in the active phase. Possible candidates for the presidency are now collecting signatures in different parts of the city. However, such pickets often endanger the security of Minskers and the guests. Alexander Lukashenko demanded to ensure full order in the capital city.
They also discussed how health and education facilities are being built in different parts of the city. Among them are 10 hospitals and outpatient clinics. In the future, a multi-profile hospital will appear at Dolginovsky Trakt. An integrated approach will make it possible to provide the best quality of medical care.
The Museum of National History will also have new premises in the future. The building for storing the expositions at the former address of 12, Karl Marx Street, is no longer sufficient. It was decided to place the historical museum at the "Museum Quarter" complex.
