On the one hand, the unprecedented harvest of strawberries in Belarus is a plus. The berry is useful and very tasty, moreover, due to the glut of the market, the price for it has fallen, which can only please ordinary buyers. A basket comes almost for nothing. But manufacturers are at a loss: a lot of work and time is spent, and the profit is low. The President set a tough task to Belarusian Cooperation Union and Ministry of Antimonopoly regulation to settle the strawberry issue. Nothing surprising happened. From the oversupply of goods, the price really went down. This is the market in action.

But what to do with crop surplus? How not to lose the strawberry profit? This problem affected not only the ordinary summer residents, but also farmers. The Head of State did not stand aside, because the interests of the Belarusians are affected.

According to Valery Ivanov, the Chairman of the Board of Belarusian Cooperation Union,   the union is ready to buy strawberries from the population without any restrictions.

According to agrarians, the strawberry season will last another week, maximum two. And right now is the time to stock up this berry for the winter. Of course, vitamin products will not disappear from the store shelves. The Belarusian market is open for importers.
