President of Belarus holds meeting on oil supplies and epidemiological situation

Minimizing dependence on the oil games of major powers, loading our refineries, as well as providing the domestic market with oil products, including fuel to complete sowing operations. These issues were discussed Tuesday at the President’s meeting on oil supplies. The constantly changing situation in this market is now one of the most pressing issues in the world. The reluctance of big players to find a common language with each other negatively affects the prices. In addition, news of coronavirus proliferation continues to exert pressure on the energy market. While the oil is cheap, it was decided to create a significant reserve, including fuel for unforeseen events. This will not disrupt the work of the industries and will not interrupt the technological processes.

Apart from the situation on the oil market, the issue of the coronavirus pandemic is no less acute today. Belarus has managed to curb an avalanche-like increase in morbidity. The Head of State spoke about the readiness of our healthcare system to counteract the spread of infection. By Monday, all the problems with the lack of masks in Belarusian pharmacies were removed, as well as the provision of medical institutions with all necessary personal protective equipment.
