President of Belarus greets Vladimir Norov on 20th anniversary of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation has celebrated its jubilee. Vladimir Norov, the General Secretary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, has received a letter of congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the organization. Alexander Lukashenko remarked that during its existence the organization successfully established itself in the international arena, became a full-fledged participant of the key global processes and during the pandemic it became a model of cohesion and mutual assistance. Since its participation in the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, Belarus has been actively involved in its various mechanisms. Minsk's initiatives on the development of food security, information technologies and transportation have already been applied in the member states of the organization.
