"Subversion" in theater housed of Belarus! A new historical drama by the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" and the Ministry of Defense is a present for the movie buffs on the Independence Day. Today there will be a special show of the full movie in "Belarus" movie theater at evening prime time. It is a shortened version of the 8-episode film "Flame under the Ashes," which had two storylines: our past and present - in a large-scale work of the Belarusian military of the 21st century. It premiered on our TV channel in February and gathered a large audience in front of the screens. In the new two-hour format only the historical drama was left. The plot: year 1945, liberated post-war Belarus. Literally every inch of land is explosive. Children, who were not taken to defend their homeland during the battles, join the ranks of volunteers and are engaged in mine clearance of Minsk and its surroundings. The feat of teenager sappers is a rare subject for war films.

Vladimir Karachevsky, General Director of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm":

The film can be watched by the 12+ generation, which is very important, which is quite a wide audience. Young people who see this film will probably ask themselves: Am I capable of such a deed, am I capable of getting up from my school and liberating the land, realizing that not everything can end well? That is, it should not be poster patriotism, but inner patriotism, understanding that you have to do something every day for the good of the country where you live.

Of course, there are a lot of pyrotechnics, stuntmen, explosions in the film about sappers. All combat episodes were consulted with the military. The all-Belarusian premiere on big screens starts on July 3 in all regions of the country.
