Yuri Shevchuk: Every year this event attracts a huge amount of both participants and spectators. This is not surprising. The event is more like a show: loud music, roaring engines and hundreds of motorcycles of the world's most famous brands. The event brought together bikers not only fr om all parts of Belarus, but also from our neighbors in Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. All of them arrived in the Belarusian capital, not only to meet up with friends, but also to take part in historical and patriotic event dedicated to the Great Victory.
Andrei Yurkoyt, director of Minsk Harley-Davidson Club:
"We are opening a motorcycle season every year on these dates, which is sponsored by Harley Davidson. We gather people from different countries and cities. This is the third big event of the kind."
Minsk Harley Davidson Club has no more than 50 people. But since this brand is loved and respected throughout the world, there are adherents of Harleys in virtually every corner of the world.
Vyacheslav Chulyukanov, director of the Moscow Harley-Davidson Club:
"This time, the opening of the season of Harley brotherhood coincided with the most important event of the year, the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Therefore, the first place wh ere weto sent a convoy of more than 300 of the motorcycle was Minsk - Hero City Stella."
Amicable column of guests from the Baltic States, Poland, Russia, went to the stele together with Minsk bikers. In past years, fans of the world-famous motorcycle commemorated the great victory near the Mound of Glory.
Igor Podgorny, founder of Harley-Davidson in Minsk:
"We pay tribute to our fathers, grandfathers, and in addition we would like to demonstrate that people of different nationalities not only can coexist peacefully, but may well be friends. In our column there are completely different people and they are all united by peaceful idea."
