Minsk region plans to train agriculture specialists for Tashkent region

Perspective directions for cooperation between the two regions were discussed today by the heads of the Minsk and Tashkent regions. Anatoly Isachenko and Gulomzhon Ibragimov agreed to establish an inter-regional commission that would supervise cooperation in the fields of agriculture, heavy industry, training of personnel. The trade turnover of the central regions of the two countries is only 12 million dollars. The regions plan to increase it over the coming year.

Tashkent region is developing the agricultural sector. The delegation of Uzbekistan is interested in supplies of Belarusian harvesters, transfer of experience in production and processing of meat and milk.

After the meeting in the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee the delegation from the Tashkent region along with the governor of the Minsk region went to the Smolevichi District. Afterwards, the guests will visit BelAZ in Zhodino.
