The facts are as follows: people spend up to 14 hours at the border to enter the territory of Belarus. "Have you felt the flow of visa-free entry?" - this question was addressed to Vladimir Karanik by journalist of ATN in the program "Conversation with the President.
"We felt it, and we register it, especially from the Lithuanian territory. But people are standing on the border, because, unfortunately, our neighbors and the Lithuanian border service do everything to make it as difficult as possible for Lithuanian and Belarusian citizens to cross the border. We can see that the norms are not met to let cars through; they are sometimes rejected on trumped-up excuses," explained the governor. - We see it all. But those citizens who, despite all these difficulties, come, first of all, note that we welcome all guests, and we understand perfectly well that the difficulties between the states are definitely not the people's fault".
