Belarusian and Russian paratroopers have practiced blocking armed invaders as part of a tactical exercise in the Vitebsk region. The maneuvers are featuring about 1,000 soldiers, over 200 military equipment units and 10 aircrafts. The paratroopers parachuted in the action zone from an airplane.
The coherence of the units has yet to be perfected, but the commanders highly appreciated training operation results. Thus, another preparatory stage for the Belarus-Russia strategic exercise Zapad 2017 (West 2017) has been completed.
