Petrovsky: Belarus has never been hostile towards Ukraine

15 июля 2022

Belarus has never been hostile towards Ukraine and has always respected its people, language and culture. This was stated by political analyst Petr Petrovsky. According to the expert, Minsk is well aware that Bandera's ideology, imposed through the Ukrainian media, is just a picture that  the reasonable people in Ukraine are not fooled by.

Petr Petrovsky, political analyst:

The Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian ideology in general, the mentality of state policy has have been indoctrinated into great-power chauvinism. That is, when we denied the right of existence to any people, ethnic group, or engaged in discrimination on the basis of language. Moreover, the President himself said that his roots come from somewhere under Chernigov.  That is he sees the Ukrainian culture, language, literature as an integral part of the all-Slavic heritage.

Interfering in the internal affairs of other states is a U.S. tradition

Petr Petrovsky, political scientist:

The very tradition of interfering in the internal affairs of other states in the United States of America is quite rich. I can guess from Mr. Bolton's record that he has taken part in some coups d'état in some Latin American countries. External control for Americans to one degree or another is not necessarily a coup d'état.

The EU is an energy zero region

Peter Petrovsky, Political Scientist:

The European Union under the current policy is a completely energy-zero state. Because you either buy energy from Russia or you don't buy energy from anybody. France's nuclear program is zero. They can't reproduce their technology, they don't have their own uranium.
