Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Zharko notes that Belarus highly appreciates cooperation with the international committee and recognizes the organization's undoubted contribution to the settlement of international conflicts and the maintenance of peace. The financial assistance of the Belarusian Red Cross (this is $ 2.5 million over the past five years) helped the country implement a number of large projects: the search for missing persons and support for displaced people from Ukraine. Peter Maurer recognized Belarus as a reliable partner of the organization and expressed confidence that relations with the Belarusian Red Cross Society will only grow stronger.
