The Ministry of Health will expand the state price regulation. It will concern the list of essential medicines. This was announced by minister Vladimir Karanik at the Goverment House, where the autumn session was opened.
The price regulation for some drugs has already been introduced this year. It affected cardiological and cancer fields. Each year, the list of maximum sale prices will be reviewed. According to the minister's statement all major drugs are expected to be included into the list in the future. The head of the department also assured that price regulation will not put the drug suppliers off.
The autumn session will be the last one for the deputies of the 6th convention. The parlaimentary election campaign has started. Belarus waits for the arrival of the OSCE observers for the upcoming elections. The first team will arrive next week on October 7th. The exact number of the observers is not known. In general, the election campaign goes withot violations, except for a few warnings during the parliamentary race.
The election of deputies will be held in Belarus on November 17, the election of senators will be held on November 7.
