Monument to Vladimir Mulyavin opens in Yekaterinburg today

The four-meter sculpture of the musician and founder of the legendary band Pesnyary is located in the city centre near the Kosmos Concert Hall which repeatedly hosted the band's performances. The bronze statue is Belarus' gift to the singer's compatriots. The monument opening ceremony was attended by the band itself who are going to perform a concert. A copy of the monument is planned to be set up in Minsk near the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
