By Tatiana Korol: Belarusian surgeons are mastering new treatment methods on a daily basis. For example, a man who had a stroke has been operated on in Mogilev for the first time and a woman has undergone Morton's neuroma surgery in Minsk.

About 12 operations are performed at the Research and Clinical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery daily. The total number exceeds 2,500 surgeries per year. With the citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, the UK, the USA and Venezuela being among its patients, the center exported over 315,000 dollars worth of medical services in 2016.

Belarus holds the first place in the world in terms of healthcare availability. Today, due to the latest equipment and medical workers’ professionalism, quality healthcare services are available in almost every city and town across the country.
