The annual seminar for heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus started today in Minsk. The educational and practical week at the Academy of President Administration under the aegis of the President was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. As the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted, "the current political and economic situation should be perceived not as a problem, but as a source for new opportunities that need to be identified in a timely manner and qualitatively use". Seminar participants will consider integration, investment issues, digitalization, international cooperation in the energy, educational and humanitarian spheres.
Andrei Rzheussky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India:
Experience in how other countries solve their problems will be shared. It will be possible to communicate with the heads of enterprises and ministers directly. It is faster, more efficient and easier to tackle any issues this way.
The format also includes a meeting with the participation of the President, as well as meetings with government leaders and representatives of the European Economic Commission. Off-site events are also planned. The seminar will last until July 23.
