Ornithologists count number of waterfowl that remain in Minsk in winter

14 species of birds can be observed on the capital's storage lakes. The most numerous are mallards and great white-gulls. Mute swans can be found on the storage lake Krynica, common goldeneyes are observed in Chizhovka.
