Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Andrei Andrei Dapkiunas has received a World Health Organisation certificate officially confirming the complete prevention of the mother-to-child transmission of HIV in Belarus. Belarus has become the first and only one in Europe to have received such a certificate.
Yesterday, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent a message to participants of the meeting of the UN General Assembly on Ending AIDS, pointing out that the construction of a generally accessible and effective health care system is the key priority of Belarus’ state policy.
