An important agreement on the Belarus - Kazakhstan cooperation in space research, as well as the use of outer space for peaceful purposes has been reached today. Ahead of that, Oleg Novitsky, the famous Belarusian who headed the expedition to the ISS, arrived in Minsk. He handed over his personal belongings that he took with him in orbit to the funds of the Modern Belarusian Statehood Museum. They include his space suit, rescue equipment, as well as the national flag of Belarus.

Astronauts are only allowed to take one kilogram of things in orbit. Nevertheless, Novitsky decided to take national symbol of the country, and now every visitor of the museum can see the flag. In the nearest future, of the astronaut is planning to take part in the XXXI Congress of the Association of Space Explorers that will be held in Belarus in September 2018. Yesterday, Novitsky visited the Academy of Sciences, where he acquainted himself with the successes of Belarusian professionals in the field of cosmonautics.

When talking to journalists, Oleg Novitsky noted that achieving any goals is first of all a matter of diligence, and then the road to the stars, however thorny, will not be that much of a challenge.
