New technologies discussed at TIBO

New technologies were discussed at TIBO, the annual forum of information and communication achievements.

Within the framework of the Innovation Week, the Internet awards were traditionally held, and the best online publications selected. Thus, in the nomination “The best information resource” the first place went to the website of Belteleradiocompany tvr.by. The second position was taken by the international satellite channel "Belarus 24". 

The key event of TIBO by tradition was the exhibition. More than a hundred companies from 16 countries brought their latest developments. These are manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, developers and suppliers of the most technologically advanced solutions, intelligent services.

TIBO is an example of the fact that the digital economy is now a priority in the development of each industry. It is noteworthy that the state sector seeks to keep up with a private competitor, we are working on the development of e-government and the system of state e-services to citizens and businesses. Last year alone, in the United Nations ranking of the level of e-government development, Belarus rose by 11 points at once and now occupies the 38th place.

The center of the exhibition was the exposition of the Ministry of Communications and other republican authorities. 

For the first time, a Belarusian-made robot was presented to the audience. The developers are the employees of the National Academy of Sciences. So, gradually, new technologies are becoming more and more important for us. It seems that this flight of human thought cannot be stopped.
