Amendments to Labor Code of Belarus enter into force

The  updated Labor Code is coming into force in Belarus today. The changes are primarily aimed at protecting workers' rights and empowering employers. There will be an entire chapter regulating the concept of "distance employment". Employees will be subject to the general provisions of the Labor Code. The novelties will also affect fathers - now they will be able to go on a two-week vacation, however, only in the first six months after the birth of the child.
