New electric trains for third branch of Minsk subway presented to journalists

By the end of next year, 10 of these trains will be produced. All electric trains are manufactured at Stadler-Minsk plant in Fanipol. There are versions with four and five cars. They were designed taking into account the peculiarities of Minsk subway.

New electric trains are characterized by smooth running, excellent noise isolation, availability of USB charging and air conditioning. The electric trains will run on the third line of Minsk subway. The first route will pass through the first 4 stations of the new line. 

Minsk subway and Stadler plant agreed on the delivery of 10 new electric trains in 2017. The blue color is not chosen by chance, it is the color of the coat of arms of Minsk. 

The electric trains for Minsk subway were built using Swiss technology. The convenience of new trains should be appreciated, of course, by passengers. It's a completely new level of smooth running, noise reduction as well as barrier-free environment. 

The director of the plant that produced these trains was also among the first passengers. Philipp Brunner comes fr om Switzerland, wh ere they know a lot about accuracy and speed.  The estimated opening date of the first part of the new metro line is July 2020. The third line will run from Kurasovshchina to Zeleny Lug. It will have 14 stations.
