Today, representatives of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry for Emergency Situations, regional and district executive committees, as well as deputies, held a festive Christmas event for students of the Krasnopolsky District State Gymnasium. A special New Year's show was performed and gifts – including numerous certificates and sports equipment – were given to small children.
Anatoly Kalinin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
"This gymnasium has a preliminary agreement with the Football Federation to set up a football pitch with an artificial cover here. Thus, it will create better conditions and, perhaps, the school will have its own football team."
Also, this year, the school also plans to open a "smart class" with the support of a Chinese company. The class will bring modern IT-technologies into learning.
