A historical anniversary is observed in Nesvizh, the town celebrates 435 years since the establishment of the Magdeburg Law. This is a distinction that was formalized in the 13th century and was granted only to towns with considerable social and economic and civil development. The Magdeburg Law enabled citizens to live by the laws of self-government, to develop their economy and community more effectively, and contributed to respect for rights and freedoms.  The town received its coat of arms at that time.

During the era of the Magdeburg Law, important historic buildings were constructed in Nesvizh, which today constitute the architectural structure of the town. Thus the first building, which the inhabitants of Nesvizh themselves erected in 1596, was the Town Hall. It was destroyed in a hundred years.
