A new oncological dispensary is under construction in Grodno. The President of Belarus asked Governor Vladimir Karanik about the progress in its construction. The medical facility is extremely important for the western region of the country. The facility is a landmark for the former Minister of Health and the present head of the region.
As Vladimir Karanik said in the program "A Conversation with the President", funds from the Innovation Fund of Grodno Region will be used to purchase medical equipment for the oncological dispensary. The proposal is supported and the radiological ward will be commissioned this year and the surgical block should be completed by 2024.
Vladimir Karanik explained that oncology is based on three main pillars. These are chemotherapy, surgery and radiology (radiotherapy). The equipment that is being installed now is very modern.
"Not all European clinics can boast of such equipment. We provide highly specialized technological care for patients," summed up the head of the Grodno Region.
