Natalia Kochanova holds video talks with director of WHO Regional Office for Europe

Belarus invites WHO mission on behalf of the President for a real assessment of the situation in the country and the work of our healthcare system. Speaker of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova held video talks with the director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe and invited him to come to Belarus on behalf of the President.

Natalia Kochanova: “We are bombarded with information misguides and fakes in relation to the current events. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited you to give a real assessment of the situation.”

The director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe emphasized: “I am pleased to know that the leader of the country is so involved in the events. I confirmed the correctness of measures adopted by the Belarusian leadership in the letter to the Ministry of Health of Belarus.”

Representative of this organization in Belarus Batyr Berdyklychev confirmed that the Regional Office is preparing the arrival of a WHO mission in the near future.
