S. Rumas: Joint action to implement common economic strategy of Commonwealth countries to be taken

Prime Minister of Belarus Sergey Rumas announced that at the Council of the Heads of Government of the CIS, which was held in a videoconference format. The actions will be made towards ensuring people's health in a pandemic and to respond the viral threats. The strategic goal is to maintain socio-economic and financial stability. These tasks need to be managed together in the context of the interdependence of industrial, agricultural and transport complexes. The creation of a free trade zone for services, without barriers and with simplified customs procedures is also considered. 

The strategy on the joint efforts of the CIS countries to combat the spread of the infection was adopted, as a result of the Council. The next meeting will be held on November 6 in Tashkent.
