Criminal drug stores run from outside Belarus

"The line between a user and a participant in the drug business is very thin. An addict in search of money for a dose often finds no other way than to work for a drug-internet store," says Alesya Vysotskaya, author of "The Euphoria of Evil" film. - Drug stores are an organized criminal business, run from outside of the country."

The scheme has dozens of links, where each has its own role. These are  the couriers, droppers and cooks, accountants responsible for money transfers, criminals who register their bank cards and pass them to the criminals, and so on and so forth. Recently, their security service has also stepped up. A new scourge of this business! The so-called enforcers, who punish those who went against this criminal business. Each of the links, including the enforcers, is motivated by money. 

"There are certain online stores that are under criminal investigation. There is a legal assessment by the investigators that this is a criminal organization," says Deputy Head of the State Drug Control Department, Alexander Vysotsky. - Unfortunately, people continue to be employed in these stores in various positions: as droppers, administrators, operators, carrying out various errands.

"I would like to point out that this is a voluntary entry into a criminal organization. And the person is responsible for his actions in accordance with the Criminal Code of Belarus. It's surprising that people, making such a choice, being employed in such a store, give their passport data there, take selfies with their passport and send it. And to whom? To members of a criminal organization! They came into the drug business, they joined it voluntarily. And the other side begins to deal with them, often to avoid paying them money. Worth thinking about it, when they are getting  involved with drugs."

According to some studies, it is believed that one addict draws 10 people into his circle. And there is a formula by which the actual number of addicts is calculated. If according to the official statistics of the Ministry of Health, there are 12.5 thousand people in the register, then the figure can be easily multiplied by 10. And it will be an approximate number of people who are scouring the country in search of drugs.
