The prospective areas and expansion of cooperation were discussed today by Vladimir Gusakov, the chairman of the NAS Presidium, at the meeting with Boris Gryzlov, the Russian Ambassador to Belarus. The parties emphasized that Western sanctions are a chance and new opportunities for the scientists of the Union State to mobilize their potential and get promising developments to fully replace the latest materials, software, electronics and robotics.
New opportunities for our science also open up in the space sphere. The construction of the Belarusian-Russian satellite was confirmed at the highest level during the visit of our President to the Far East. High-tech projects shape the face of the Belarusian-Russian high technology. Our specialists have a green light for participation in Vostochny Cosmodrome. The conceptual design of the satellite has been developed, the package and software will be Belarus-made. It is planned that the spacecraft will be fully ready at the end of next year.
