The national flag and the flag of Belarus 1 TV channel have been planted on top of the conquered El Misti volcano. Its height is 5,822 meters, which is higher than the Europe's highest point Mount Elbrus. The way to the top and back took 24 hours. The expedition consists of 14 amateur climbers, 6 of which are women, with ages ranging from 17-60 years.

This is the 14th Belarusian expedition as part of the Seven Summits project, the goal of which is to climb to the top of previously unconquered mountains. The Belarusians have already surmounted more than 10 peaks, among which are the three highest points of Europe, Africa and South America.
