Laboratory testing, isolation of people with confirmed coronavirus, quarantine of contact persons. The WHO mission fully supports the measures taken by Belarus to combat COVID-19. This was stated by the experts of the organization, summarizing the observations. However, they said that these steps should be strengthened.

Patrick O'Connor, head of the WHO mission in Belarus: "We recommend that measures covering the entire community, including physical distance, be implemented while maintaining an adequate system of testing, tracking and isolation of identified cases. We stress the good practices undertaken by the Belarusian government. They must be preserved and reinforced".

The WHO mission has been with us for three days. During this time, the organization's experts got acquainted with the functioning of hospitals in the capital, Minsk and Vitebsk regions. According to WHO, the data were "complete and real".
