The main issue is the uniform settlement of animals. Deer are raised in special mini-reserves or enclosures. One of the largest is in Berezina area.

Livestock is being increased and animals are being sold to forestries all over Belarus.

Employees of Berezina forestry monitor several herds of noble deer. The area of 156 hectares is inhabited by more than a hundred animals.

Alexander Gubich, hunter of Berezina forestry: "These are solonetzes. We place them in an aviary. Animals come here and get used to it."

Wild animals are given not only salty vitamins, they are also actively fed - especially in winter. Deer live in the forest and find food there - the leaves of trees, shrubs and smaller vegetation.

Dmitry Krutalevich, hunting engineer of Berezina forestry: "We use grain first of all. We add silage for top dressing in winter. It is more fatty and nutritious food. We conclude contracts with agricultural enterprises for its delivery. "

The main issue for forestry specialists today is the uniform settlement of animals in the region and the country. Deer are raised in such mini-reserves or aviaries, increase their numbers and sell wild animals to forests throughout Belarus.

Dmitry Krutalevich hunting engineer of Berezina forestry: "We participate in tenders and sell about 30-40 heads to other farms in Minsk Region every year. Animals are imported into aviaries like ours for overexposure and breeding, and then sold to maintain and expand the range of the population in the country."

The red deer is a popular hunting object today.
