Ministries of Justice of Belarus and Brazil sign several treaties on cooperation

The documents were signed by heads of the departments Oleg Slizhevsky and Torquato Jardim. In particular, the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters will allow taking measures to conduct cases, establish and withdraw proceeds of crime, obtain testimony, conduct expert examinations, inspect the crime scene, and provide legal assistance in the territories of the two countries. According to experts, the significance of such a treaty is also in the creation of an international legal framework.

The ministers signed a memorandum of understanding. This year has become fruitful for our department. Within 6 months, the Ministry of Justice concluded similar agreements with Spain, Poland and Mongolia.
