Mikhail Orda discusses trade union initiatives with President

The updated Labor Code will come into force next week. More than 30 articles were changed in it in favor of workers at the initiative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

The protection of the rights of all those who work and the future of the country's most mass public organization were discussed at the meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Federation Chairman Mikhail Orda. 

In late February, the 8th Trade Unions Congress will be held. Over 510 delegates from all over Belarus will gather in the capital. 

The federation's activities affect all spheres of life in the country. And the meeting raised quite a wide range of issue, from salaries and pensions to safety at work and legal assistance, as well as other initiatives of the trade unions.
