The international exhibition Belagro sums up preliminary results. There are a lot of agreements signed by the domestic machine-builders: Minsk Tractor Works has signed a contract to supply machinery to Sudan. Some 200 tractors are exported to that African country. Gomselmash also offers its novelties for the domestic market. Minsk Region agro-industrial organisations will buy 40 state-of-the-art combines with the highest output. Such machines are equipped with precision farming system, which allows farmers to get optimum results in the field.

Sergey Fedorovich, General Designer of Gomselmash:

For farms that have already learned how to grow good crops, we will actively promote the 2124 model. We make a whole batch for the Minsk Region. There are moisture and yield sensors, and given the fact that it is geo-referenced, a yield map of the field is built. It is an essential help for agronomists.

Amkodor holding also has its own know-how. Thus, the plant in Dzerzhinsk has created a new 12-metre sowing machine "Veras". There is already a preliminary order for 50 such vehicles from all over the country. In the future, Minsk Region alone will purchase a hundred new seeders.

Alexander Yefimov, General Director of Amkodor, the holding's management company:

In continuation of the line of forage equipment we have a universal seeding machine with the width of 12 meters. It allows using all technologies of parallel farming to precisely and accurately place seeds into the soil and get a good sprouting.  The vehicle is successfully tested in the fields.

The Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week was held for the first time in the Great Stone industrial park. More than 400 companies from sixteen countries gathered at the site.
