Modern pandemics are a huge struggle for money and resources. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the opening ceremony of the new building of the 9th City Children's Hospital in Minsk, BelTA informs.
"Remember: pandemic, pandemic, lockdown, stop life and do not breathe. We didn't stop life, we breathed. And where is this pandemic today?" - Alexander Lukashenko asked.
The head of state noted that the coronavirus pandemic has been replaced by another - monkeypox. "If the monkeypox is over, they'll come up with something new. This is a huge struggle for huge money, for resources. And not just for people's minds," the President is convinced.
"Remember, I told you, you'll see where the pandemic will lead: God forbid it doesn't lead to a hot war. So far we don't have it blazing, thank God, and we'll do everything we can to make sure that doesn't happen. But look what's going on in the world. And not just war. Just look at the economy: prices are rising," said Alexander Lukashenko. - "Who would have thought that such a wealthy West would come to Belarus, which is under sanctions, to buy salt or cereals. Let them come and buy it. We do not mind.
