The President of Belarus has congratulated the participants and guests of the regional festivals-fairs "Dazhynki-2023" in Vitebsk and Oktyabrsky on the holiday. This is reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"I congratulate you on your professional holiday and the regional festival-fair "Dozhinki-2023". The farmers of Vitebsk Region work in conditions of risky farming, but in such a climatically challenging year they managed to grow and harvest almost 800 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, including rape. This is a worthy contribution of the northernmost region of the country to the national loaf," the head of state said in his message of congratulations to the participants and guests of the Dozhinki-2023 festival-fair in Vitebsk.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed conviction that love for the native land, skill, responsibility and sincere desire to raise the prestige of the industry will help achieve high results in the rural field.
"On this festive day I thank all the heroes of the bread harvest and wish the participants and guests of the holiday health, happiness and new victories," the President of Belarus said.
