President pays special attention to treatment of COVID patients

More than a thousand employees provide medical care to patients here. Since the beginning of the epidemic, the clinic has helped 5500 people with COVID. Now there are 767 patients in the institution, 28 of which are in intensive care. The average salary in a hospital in October was more than 2 200 rubles, and doctors of intensive care were paid about 7 000 to 9 000. At the expense of these allowances, young specialists have built apartments. The incidence of pneumonia continues to grow in Belarus. There are more than 25 500 patients in hospitals, which is significantly higher than the summer level.

The head of state emphasized that the high incidence of coronavirus is a very serious problem for the country and him as a leader. Although Belarus has already faced the first wave and managed to gain experience. It is important to avoid panic. And coronavirus has long ceased to be only a medical problem. Additional payments for work with patients with coronavirus infection will remain.

President on coronavirus: "It is important that the whole world has got convinced that our path was correct, - stated the Belarusian leader. - We have passed this path with dignity."
