Quilt as sign of indifference to AIDS epidemic

1 декабря 2016

Today, on December, 1, the world celebrates the World AIDS Day. Annually Minsk joins international initiatives and preventive actions. For the tenth consecutive year, the city offers active youth to pay attention to this problem through handicrafts. In late November, inhabitants of the nine districts of the capital sewed pieces for a quilt. More than a hundred young people aged up to 17 years worked on the colorful patchwork.

A quilt is an international sign of indifference to the AIDS epidemic and solidarity with the families, affected by the disease.
