680 people arrive in Gomel Region from Ukraine since February 24

680 people have arrived in the Gomel Region from Ukraine since February 24. This was reported by the Governor of the region, as he was visiting the borderland. Ivan Krupko told the reporters that 160 refugees are placed in temporary accommodation centers. There are about 1500 of them in Gomel Region. These are health centers and hostels. People are provided with food and everything they need. Also, there is a tent camp of the Belarusian Red Cross on the border in Bragin District. The heated facility is ready to accept up to 100 people. There are medics and volunteers on duty here.  The residents of local settlements have many relatives in Ukraine.
