Number of crimes in field of high technology increases 5 times over past 5 years

As noted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, this figure is rapidly increasing in all directions. Most of the crimes are associated with theft by using computer technology. Most often, criminal cases are initiated for the theft of bank card data. As a result of the operational-search activities, employees of the Office K have identified about 400 suspects since the beginning of the year. This is more than in the entire past year.

Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigation Committee ascertain the growth of crimes in the field of high technologies among minors.
