Kochanova: Our sacred duty is to prevent the rewriting of history

Our sacred duty is to prevent the rewriting of history. This was stated by the Chairperson of the Upper House of Parliament Natalia Kochanova. Senators, together with the chairmen of regional, district and village councils of deputies laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the "Masyukovshchina" memorial on June 22.  A death camp "Stalag 352" was located on this territory during the Great Patriotic War. The Nazis used a particularly cruel system of torture and humiliation there. People were held in inhuman conditions - in sheds, barracks and stables. For three years, 80 thousand soldiers and officers of the Red Army and civilians, driven into the camp from Minsk and surrounding villages, were brutally tortured there.
