Minsk Guest Card to be sold at National Airport and in Troitsk Suburb in April

By Yulia Tokar: New bonuses are waiting for tourists of the Belarusian capital. In April, the Minsk Guest Card will be available at the National Airport and in the Troitsk suburb.

The Guest Card expands its format, too. Now, there are five variants of it – from a VIP or Premium card to an Economy version – depending on the time a tourist is planning to stay in Minsk and whether or not they have a ticket.

Such card allows tourists visit Minsk museums, take tours about the city, go to Minsk Aqua Park or go shopping for free or at a discount. In May, the number of partners of this programme will increase.

Also, new tourist routes are being developed to make travelling to the Belarusian capital more exciting. By late 2018, tourists will have a chance to stay in the country without a visa for up to 10 days. In June, the streets Komsomolskaya and Revolutsionnaya will become pedestrian.

Ahead of the great sports event – the Second European Games, a thematic guest card will appear in Minsk. It will include additional sports facilities and hospitality zones. This is not the only bonus of the new thematic cad, though. More details about it will be known later.

Over the last year, the flow of tourists travelling to Belarus without visas has increased by 20%. Mostly, these are tourists from Russia, Germany, Poland, Italy, and the US. Over two months, the Guest Card has already been used by more than a hundred tourists. In May, the range of services will be expanded further.
