Well-being of peoples through integration, cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan

Belarus is consistently mastering not only the Chinese market, but in general is making a big turn to the East. The priority of cooperation is given to the countries that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union. The sanctions pressure acts as a stimulus to find compromises on acute issues and allows reaching mutually beneficial agreements. The ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus spoke about bilateral relations, as well as the forthcoming EAEU Supreme Council.

Ermek Ibraimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus:

The result, which exceeded expectations, is the most optimistic. The thing is that we expected the trade turnover to be of 80-85 million dollars. First figures, which came out on the trade turnover between our countries for January-February, show that the trade turnover between our countries increased by 38%. These are good figures. Are there any restrictions? Here I must say that our countries, both Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, are members of the EEC, in other words, everything is done within the framework of this association to ensure that trade between our countries does not have any obstacles and hindrances.

Ermek Ibraimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus:

In May, the EAEU Supreme Council will be held in Kyrgyzstan. I think that an open and honest conversation will take place at this council. According to the information we have today: the EAEU member countries will be represented at the highest level. I would like to say right away that within the framework of these events, in addition to this, there will be an economic forum. In other words, member states are working quite seriously to ensure that integration processes, trade processes, and economic processes between our countries are expanding. This includes the development of communications, especially transport communications, as well as issues related to digitalization, and closer cooperation in this area. Even issues such as green energy are also among the priorities. The agenda is broad, and I must admit that the current state of affairs will introduce some new issues for discussion. I want to assure you that, in general, both the country and, I take the liberty, the other members of the Eurasian Economic Union are working on it.
