Pavel Topuzidis, Deputy Chairman of the Business Development Council: "Independence Day is the holiday of the whole country. And what I always emphasize:  Belarus is a country of equal opportunity. It is a country that allows any person, any nationality to develop, to live in a stable environment without looking back. There must always be civil liability for everyone: businesses, employees, and especially investors. And they will come! Our country will be very attractive for business".

Mikhail Volchkov, winner of the Talented Youth Special Support Fund of the President of Belarus: "The support system that exists in Belarus contributes to great motivation for us - performers, musicians to work, to improve our skills, to represent Belarus at international competitions of the highest level. We have a lot of talented guys."

Andrei Savinykh, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus: "The influence of Belarus - especially in international organizations of the UN system – is greater than the country itself. The reason is that we have somehow preserved this global approach in international affairs, when we think not only about the interests of our own country, we think about the good of the entire international community, the good of humanity. And it allows us to generate initiatives and ideas that are truly global."

Alexander Mrochek, director of RSPC "Cardiology": "New technologies appear as well as new approaches in treatment. Who would have guessed that today every regional center would have an angiograph and be able to perform operations and provide emergency care to patients with acute coronary syndrome or acute myocardial infarction? All this today is possible not only in regional centers, but even in district centers".

Alexander Bogdanovich, Olympic champion in canoeing: "I started doing sports in 1995. We used to come and say:  "We're from Belarus." And they say: "Where is it?" We had to say: "It's somewhere between Russia and Poland." Now, of course, everyone knows us. In 2009 we made our Belarusian anthem played 7 times in a row, i.e. gradually we won it so that we were recognized all over the world".
