Medals for courage awarded today for real feat

Yevgeny Zharsky and Dmitry Strachuk now have one birthday for two. This is a story about a real feat. During the landing (April 5, 2017) from an airplane, serviceman Dmitry Strachuk saved the life of fellow soldier Yevgeny Zharsky. During the exercises in the Vitebsk region, servicemen performed parachute jumps. At an altitude of 80 meters their parachutes converged because of a gust of wind. Yevgeny's parachute collapsed. Dmitry helped his colleague, and they both landed safely. Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov, on behalf of the President of Belarus, presented two troopers with medals for courage.
