Foreigners to visit Belavezha Forest without visas

Belavezha Forest expects more than 20 billion rubles in additional revenue from the increased flow of tourists from the West. The head of state signed a decree allowing foreigners visit Belavezha Forest without a visa.

The time of the visa-free stay is limited to three days. Crossing the border will be allowed at the checkpoint "Pererov-Belavezha" which is located in the conservation area. Only pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed to use this checkpoint.

Access to the territory of Belarus will only be granted to the tourists who confirmed their order and paid for travel services of the National Park.

The decree №115 will enter into force in three months. Visa-free regime will start its functioning in July.
